You find yourself in dark, thick, tangled woods, following a once well-beaten but now overgrown path. Every time you take a step, you think you hear something stirring, following you.
You've been wandering a long time and are, appropriately enough, dead tired by the time you reach the next clearing. Thoughts of someone's warm fireside and (if you're lucky) a hot meal fill your head. Then you realize that the clearing isn't someone's homestead.
It's a graveyard.
Not just any graveyard. The church off to the side is nothing but crumbled stone now -- the bell that once called people to mass was taken and melted for ammunition long ago. The grounds haven't been tended to in years. The wall around it is no more than a long, foot and a half-high lump encircling the stretch of grave markers except for by the gates, where it becomes stone rather than earth and supports two decrepit, twisted and thoroughly rusted pieces of iron. The gates are falling apart; you're afraid to open them for fear they'll crash to the ground. The sloping lawn is composed almost entirely of weeds and rises higher than your knees. The tombstones are so weather-beaten and cracked, you can't make out the names or the dates on them. But somehow, every grave looks fresh, as if everyone here had been laid to rest only the day before.
The holiness that once protected this cemetery was washed away long ago when the blood of the Spanish priest who consecrated it in 1759 spilled over the graves of the people forever resting there. He'd been murdered by a demon freshly risen from the gates of Hell itself. The demon claimed the cemetery and the land around it, including the church, as his new home. Every time another wraith rises from the Underworld or one of the hellish residents claims a victim, a new grave appears here. And every night, every single hell-spawned resident rises in search of death and destruction to keep the grounds in their unholy state.
Don't you dare step into this God-forsaken plot of land. If you do, you'll become a permanent resident of the Hellion Graveyard.

Boris enters the foggy grave yard with his rifle ready to mow down any thing dumb enough to come at him. "Where the heck am I?" he asks. Boris, checking his map in one hand, knows he is lost.

Kat walks past the pillars pushing through a gate into a desolate looking graveyard. She makes her way to the center passing defunct tombstones.

Wolfie follows close behind Kat, thoroughly freaked out by the graveyard because she's borderline superstitious.
"Kat... I don't think I like this place. I wanna go back to the Island... Critters won't jump out at us there..." she whines, looking around for somewhere safe from the 'critters' she suspects lurk in the graveyard. "And don't give me the 'Where's your sense of adventure?' spiel. You know I left that at home with my extra sunglasses when I found out we were coming here." she grumbles.

"Ah ya know, I didn't become as aggresive as I did by being a whimp...." Kat looked around cautiously. She walked over to a tree and pulled on a piece of mishapen bark. A storage space opened up out of the tree. Kat shuffled around inside. "Here," Kat tossed Wolfie a hand gun, "You gotta be on guard at all times, places like this can be unpredictable." Kat pulled out a gun blade she called the hyperion. She ran at Woflie swiftly, and swung the blade just as quickly as she ran. Just missing Wolfies head she Knocked back a fleshy buldge of undead corpse that stood behind Wolfie. "That'll teach ya to screw around fleshy thing!!!!"

"Holy --" squeaks Wolfie. "What the hell was that... that... thing?"
She tries to shake off the shock by changing the subject, but fails pitifully. "What d'ya mean, 'prepared?' Are there more of these things that are gonna jump out at me? If there are, I want a freakin' flamethrower.... Or maybe just a shotgun. No... ya know what? I just wanna leave. Why are we here? Why can't we just turn around and leave?"
She rambles on like that, thinking aloud. Suddenly, she comes up with an answer to one of her many questions. She dashes back to the gates and reads the message carved into the stone. She reads it aloud. "'If your heart still beats, you are our prisoner.' Oh, crap... They're gonna eat us... Kat, I don't wanna die like this. Wait, what am I saying? I don't wanna die at all! I'm not even legal drinking age yet..." She breaks down, huddling on the ground and clutching a model F-14 in one hand and the gun Kat gave her in the other. She's becoming hysterical. "There's gotta be a loophole. There's always a loophole. There's gotta be a freakin' loophole somewhere, I just need to find it... It doesn't say anything against tunneling out..."

"Wolfie get ahold of yourself," Kat says as she walks over an tips Wolfie over with a swift shove, "All you have to do is fight your way out!" Kat shuffled over to a grave and kicked the headstone. "I ain't leaving just yet, but feel free to leave. You just have to get passed them." Kat points over to the entryway with the Hyperion, watches the blade glisten in the light, and a sadistic laugh bursts from within her.
"Thousands of rotted zombies, stand in the way. The non-violent will perish whilst the violent manslautering will be victorious. I'll be over there now, taking out frustrations on these guys" Kat's lips curled into a demonic smile as she reached over into the tree and yanked out a box of ammunition. She emptied the box of ammunition by placing the bullets into the hyperions clip. Kat tossed the box behind her, shuffled her feet in the dirt, and took off running, swinging the Hyperion at a mass of Zombies. She dissappeared into the bunch....

Wolfie rolls back into a sitting position and resumes clutching her model plane and bantering to herself. "Ohmigawd. Zombies. Zombies are bad. Lots of zombies are worse. ...Can I call in an air strike? The rock said nothing about air strikes, did it? I could probably call in a strike... Sea Cadet Corps* FAC** training was clear enough about the procedures... I mean, with a good plane and the right ordnance, a stable pilot could take 'em all out with one hit and not even scratch Kat... Or me... But I don't have a radio. Shit. We're alone..."
Wolfie notices the gun again. It doesn't seem like much; it's a Baretta 9mm. But it's fully loaded and, at this point, that's what really counts.
"As Ray Hildreth once said, you can be the worst shot in the world, but at least if you have ammo you have a chance."
She flicks the safety off and aims for the nearest zombie -- the one with the chainsaw.
*The Sea Cadet Corps is a program run by the Coast Guard and the Navy for 13-17 year olds to help orient potential officers with procedures in their chosen fields -- example: if you really wanted to be a Navy SEAL, there's a week-long toned-down version of SEAL boot camp you can join.
**FAC stands for Forward Air Controller. They're usually pilots, but they're sent out with ground troops to coordinate strikes and bomb runs from close-range.

Kat was in the midst of an all out Zombie take over, enjoying herself. As she diced through corpses, the left over drops of rotting blood soaked her body. The Zombies hacked at her with knives, axes and anything they could possibly get their mitts on. "There's no use in fighting back fellas." a booming, demonic laugh burst from Kat's chest.
She managed to knock back at least 200 Zombies or so. Kat was excited, other than Wolfie seeing Kat's true self she had nothing to worry about. In the Hellion Graveyard she had control, she could step up and destroy everything in her path. Total Annihilation, elimination of all undead corpses. This was Kat's second favorite place.
Kat felt the need to change, take flight. She looked around and didn't see Wolfie in the barrage of Zombies. Kat clutched her hand in a fist and began to change. Her hair grew longer and her nails got sharper. Wings forced them self's out of the flesh on Kat's back. She let out a scream of agony and fell to her knees, sweating and covered in her own blood and that of the Zombies. She kneeled on the ground for a few minutes, drooling and in pain.
As she began to regain strength she then took off in flight, just inches above the Zombies.........

Wolfie, by some stroke of luck or divine intervention, manages to hit the chainsaw-wielding zombie right between the eyes with her first shot. She comes close to letting out a joyous victory yell, but realizes the full effect of her shot. There are bits of zombie flesh all over and the one with the chainsaw has a massive hole in his head, but otherwise the shot hasn't done a thing.
"Oh, crap."
A second surprisingly well-aimed shot smashes into the zombie's chest. Again, blood and zombie guts everywhere, but no effect. Three, four, five shots... Finally the zombie falls.
"Whoa, it's just like Resident Evil 4. Gotta pump 'em full of lead or knock their heads off before they'll leave you alone...." Wolfie says to herself. "Why didn't I think of this before?" she muses.
However, a zombie interrupts her thought process. She whirls around and squeezes the trigger four times, aiming for the head. The zombie 'dies' for the second time.
"That was easy... Well, now that I know what I'm doing....." she says, trailing off. She reached down and picks up the chainsaw dropped by the first zombie. It's slimy and pretty gross to handle, but it makes an effective weapon. It growls to life again in her hands and she charges into a mass of zombie 'reinforcements,' screaming like a banshee.
(...Yay for updating in English class, right under the sub's nose! XD)yay for editing under Mako's nose

Kat couldn't help but laugh, the Zombies were powerless against her now, her power was limitless. Kat looked around and noticed Wolfie standing with the chainsaw and hover'd beside her. "So, now are you enjoying yourself or you still freaking out?" Kat looked around, the Zombies continued to attack in swarms. "This is actually starting to get old!"
Sorry short post I couldn't think of anything Im drained from the HSPA

"No, I am not enjoying myself. I want the Tomcat, and I want it now. But I think I can handle this... It's a crisis-and-a-half ago. It's all old-hat now. And it gets really old really fast..." Wolfie replies, hefting the chainsaw in her hands. It's grown to be an almost comfortable weight. She adjusts her baseball cap with her elbow to avoid sliming it up, then she turns to the zombies again. She begins talking to herself as she watches the zombies shred under the whining blade; "Hot damn... I oughtta get myself one of these just for the sake of havin' it..."
No worries about the short post. I'm sapped too, and I didn't even have a standardized test today... XD

Kat grabbed Wolfie by the collar of her shirt, "I think its time for us to leave," Kat said as she gulped. She looked off into the distance and stared at a zombie twice the size of the normal ones. "I have no desire to find out what the heck that spawned from." her wings moved at a quicker speed as she sped for the gate. "Hey wait a second!!!!" she thought for a moment. "you've got the freaking chainsaw, this will totally give us an advantage." Kat swiflty turned back gripping Wolfie's collar tightly, "I think if we can fly high enough to the point where he can't see us, we can jam that chainsaw straight through the zombies fucking head!"
This should turn out good, dontcha think?[/size]

"I don't wanna know where that thing came from, either... But, yeah, I do have a chainsaw. I like the chainsaw..." she rambles. A slight smile starts to tug at the corners of her mouth as she fully realizes the many destructive possibilities created by the simple fact she was the one holding the chainsaw. "I always kinda wanted to know what it would look like if a zombie's head just exploded randomly... This isn't quite random, but it's close enough for me." Wolfie says, shrugging and getting ready for the disgusting battle yet to come.

"I was thinking we just get close enough for you to swing the chainsaw at its head. Or maybe chuck it at the Zombie.....This'll kill it for sure." Kat flapped her wings at a steady pace and hovered over the zombie.
