[glow=red,2,200]"I thought they were sisters."[/glow] Slider puts his hand on his head.[glow=red,2,200]"I'm so confused..."[/glow]

Kat, after a little while, manages to pull out a few pieces that resemble those which belonged to the jets. "Not sure just yet, but I got a few parts here that need to be identified. A few of them are identical, yes, but I was unsure as to which ones had our serial numbers. I don't memorize every number that comes my way." She looks over at Wolfie, "You on the other hand, memorize and take note." she sighs, "I....suck."

[glow=red,2,200]"You're not going back in there are you?"[/glow]Slider asks in a worried tone.

"Of course I am, valuable parts are in there!" she brushes a blotch of grease/oil off of her shirt, then dives right back in.

[glow=white,2,200]"That can't be good for her hair. Remind me when she comes out to drag her butt to the showers and clean her hair."[/glow] Hollywood shakes his head in disbelief.

[glow=red,2,200]"Where the hell'd you come from?"[/glow] Slider asks Hollywood.

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

[glow=white,2,200]"I lost Barbie, so I came back here."[/glow] Hollywood replies. He looks to the sky and shouts, [glow=white,2,200]"I'm so sorry! I've failed you, Barbie!"[/glow]

Ice takes a few steps away from Hollywood, trying to avoid him. He mumbles something like, [glow=blue,2,300]"I don't know him. I've never seen him before in my life..."[/glow]

Wolfman clamps a hand over Hollywood's mouth to stop further outbursts. [glow=green,2,300]"No more of that, thank you."[/glow]

Stinger glances at Hollywood and begins to walk away. [glow=aqua,2,300]"Someone keep an eye on him at all times! He keeps on acting like that and he'll be a disgrace to all of naval aviation,"[/glow] he calls over his shoulder.

[glow=green,2,300]"Yes, sir!"[/glow]

Wolfie decides to avoid any mention of Barbie at all costs. She calls to Kat, "These are the parts you wanted me to check, right?" as she points to a small heap of metal and bolts.

Kat comes rolling off the top of the heap carrying another armful of parts, "These ones too." she looked at the heap. "But we have to move, or the pile is going to crash down on us." she said.

[glow=white,2,200]"Must wash hair, filthy, dirty, ew-ness..."[/glow] Hollywood picks Kat up and starts off for the the locker room,[glow=white,2,200]"We'll return in a little while. I have to fix this monstrosity."[/glow] Hollywood barks.

[glow=red,2,200]"Why does everyone keep losing or taking my fangirl again?"[/glow] Slider whines.

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

Wolfie rushes around the bunch of parts Kat has yoinked from the scrap heap, dodging sharp edges and protruding pieces. She picks up a part and checks it against the serial number list in her notebook. "No..." she mumbles and tosses it aside. She grabs another. "No again..." Another. "No dice." And another. "Nein."

By the time she's finished with two thirds of the pile, Kat and Hollywood have returned. Kat's hair is shiny and untamed, the way it always is after it's been washed properly.

Wolfman grabs Hollywood, drags him far enough away from the others so that they can't be overheard, and sits him down on a discarded stabilizer. [glow=green,2,300]"No more outbursts, man. You'll blow our cover,"[/glow] he lectures.

[glow=white,2,300]"What cover? They know anyway..."[/glow]

[glow=green,2,300]"I'm aware of that. It's a matter of principle. It doesn't matter that they know, but what if there's someone out there listening who's not so friendly with the CIA?"[/glow]

[glow=white,2,300]"I don't get how freaking out about Kat's hair could blow our cover...."[/glow] Hollywood complained.

[glow=green,2,300]"Well, it probably won't. But you still need to learn some impulse control. You keep spazzing like that and you're likely to reveal classified information."[/glow]

[glow=white,2,300]"Yeah, you have a point there. ...Wait, we deal with classified information?"[/glow]

[glow=green,2,300]"Thank God we're not deep-cover agents..."[/glow]

Kat flops down on the ground next to the pile and begins mumbling, tapping her fingers against the pavement of the ground beneath her.

[glow=red,2,200]"Uh Kat, something wrong."[/glow] Slider pokes at her cautiously with a stick about a meter long.

Kat doesn't seem bothered and continues mumbling and throwing a fit. She then stands up and walks over to Wolfie..."Pardon me," she begins digging through Wolfies pockets, and successfully pulls out a bottle of hair gel. She proceeds to then open the bottle and dumps half of it in her hair. Handing the bottle off to Wolfie..."Thanks, heh" she laughs nervously. Then strolls over to Wolfman and Hollywood and begins to bash Hollywood in th head continually. "NEVER USE SHAMPOO IN MY HAIR AGAIN, OR FACE THE DIRE CONSEQUENSE'S!!!!!" she screamed.

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

Wolfie stares at the half-empty bottle. "My hair gel..." she whines. "Ah, whatever."

Wolfman yanks Hollywood from Kat's grasp, afraid he'll crack under the pressure and blurt out something important. [glow=green,2,300]"He's not the best, but he's still my partner, and whatever brain he's got is full of top-secret information. Don't kill him, and more importantly, don't make him blurt out anything! We don't know who's listening...."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]"Bit paranoid, aren't you?"[/glow] Ice asks. He pokes Wolfie in the back multiple times to get her attention.

"Not now! Numbers to be checked, parts to be found!" Wolfie cries before literally jumping into what's left of the pile of parts Kat seperated from the rest. She cuts one leg on a sharp edge. She doesn't seem to notice, much less care. She checks the rest of the parts. "Uh... Kat, none of these match. Is this all you found?"

[glow=red,2,200]"I'm not paranoid Im just being cautious dude."[/glow]

"No, thats not all I found. But genius here decided to kill my hair before I could drop the rest of the parts out of my pockets." she growled at Hollywood.

[glow=white,2,200]"I didn't kill your hair, I cleaned it."[/glow] Hollywood yelled to defend himself.

"Pfff, Shampoo is never used in my hair dipshit. It makes my hair look like a poodle." she pouts. "and now, I have to hope this hairgel holds until I can rinse it out and have my original hair texture back."

Kat starts to dump out the parts that are in her pockets.

Ice looks at Slider. [glow=blue,2,300]"Not you. I meant Wolfman. I know you're not paranoid. A little nuts maybe, but not paranoid."[/glow]

Wolfie is jumping up and down, waving her notebook. "Parts, parts, parts, parts, parts...." she chants. As soon as Kat's pockets are empty, she scrambles to grab as many as she can in one hand while holding the notebook in the other. When that fails to work as planned, she recruits Ice as a notebook stand. "Stay right here and hold this up while I check the parts."

[glow=blue,2,300]"And what if I move, say, over here?"[/glow] he asks, shifting two steps to his right.

"Stay still, dammit. I only have two hands to use and I need them both for other things," she tells him as she sets the notebook against his leg again.

[glow=blue,2,300]"And If I find you a replacement prop?"[/glow]

"I'll let you go."

[glow=blue,2,300]"Hollywood, get over here."[/glow]

[glow=white,2,300]"Nuh-uh!"[/glow] Hollywood yelps in response. [glow=white,2,300]"I don't wanna stand there and hold up some stupid notebook while she checks serial numbers and bleeds on me..."[/glow]

Wolfie notices for the first time that there's a two-inch long cut on her left leg. "Crap. I like these jeans. Eh, blood washes." She glances at a realtively fresh burn scar on her right forearm. "Heh, keeping the symmetry, I suppose..." she mutters, pulling a few band-aids out of her pockets and sticking them to the cut. "I'll clean it later," she adds when she notices Wolfman's disapproving stare.

[glow=green,2,300]"You want that to scar, don't you?"[/glow]

"Yeah. Up 'til last weekend, the number of scars on my right arm was equal to the number of scars on my left leg. Then I scorched my arm on a frying pan. This cut will make it symmetrical again."

[glow=green,2,300]"You are truly a piece of work, you know that?"[/glow]

"Yes, I'm aware of that. But danke for reinforcing that," she replies as she checks the other parts. "Kat, there's something wrong here. None of these match, either."

Kat turns and looks around, she spots a line of parts that fell out of her pockets while she was being drug away by Hollywood, "Got some more for you," she says pointing at them.

There seems to a continuum of parts, as Kat points to them running off the horizon.

[glow=red,2,200]"This is going to be a slow mission..." Slider says hanging his head.[/glow]

"Why do you say that Slider? Kat asks with a confused tone.

[glow=red,2,200]"Monkeys slow the expedition." he says punching Hollywood in the head. "Hey Wolfman, take him somewhere will ya."[/glow]

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

Hollywood rubs the side of his head, complaining that Slider is being abusive for no good reason.

[glow=blue,2,300]"He's got a reason,"[/glow] Ice states. [glow=blue,2,300]"You really did slow Kat down, dragging her away to fix her hair like that. I would've whacked you upside the head myself if he hadn't taken care of it."[/glow]

Wolfie, meanwhile, is searching for parts herself while she waits for Kat to get back. "I could have sworn I checked this number already..." she mumbles, tossing yet another piece of metal.

Wolfman lets our a yelp and can be heard scrambling over the scrap metal.

"Oh, jeez, sorry! Did I hit you with that, man?" Wolfie asks, turning to see if she'd injured her fellow Wolf.

[glow=green,2,300]"Naw, I'm okay. I just had to move before I was hit with a chunk of some plane's wing. Watch where you throw those things, would ya?"[/glow]

Kat cautiously picks up all the pieces one by one, slowly making her way to the locker room. As she picks up the last few pieces, she sets them all on a bench, gasping for air. "Damn those things are heavy." she thinks to herself. "Maybe there's something here I can use to carry them all back with."

after some time search around the locker room obtaining nothing but smelly socks and old candy wrappers, she comes to on of the last lockers available. She looks up, "Man I'm sorry." she opens the locker and begins fumbling through things gently. "No....no...no.NO." Kat finds everything else but a bag. "Oh, lookie here." she grabs a picture of Goose. picks up all the parts and runs out of the locker room.

[glow=red,2,200]I hope the Airboss didn't catch her and make her clean something. Like his shirt, or his room.[/glow] Slider says, [glow=red,2,200] She's been gone way to long...[/glow]

"Hey guys looooook!!!" Kat appears out of nowhere, running over to the group at high speed, she stops abruptlys drops the parts at wolfies feet and show's here the picture,"I found a picture of Goose"

[glow=00EE76,2,200]"Oh hey let me take a look at that."[/glow]

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

"Oh. My. God." Wolfie squeaks haltingly.

[glow=blue,2,300]"Holy shit."[/glow] Ice says, voice hardly above a whisper.

[glow=green,2,300]"Goose?"[/glow] Wolfman asks, unable to believe the person standing so nearby. He shakes his head as if to clear clouded eyesight and says, [glow=green,2,300]"No way."[/glow] He abruptly turns and smacks his head against a pile of parts. [glow=green,2,300]"I."[/glow] Whap. [glow=green,2,300]"Am."[/glow] Whap. [glow=green,2,300]"Hallucinating!"[/glow] Whap.

The tall, redheaded guy who no one but Wolfman could stop staring at reached out a hand and stopped the beating. [glow=00EE76,2,300]"Yeah, guys, it's me."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]"But I though you were --"[/glow]

[glow=00EE76,2,300]"Minor technicality. Since y'all missed me so much..."[/glow]

With a yell, Wolfie goes to jump on him. And falls right through him.

[glow=00EE76,2,300]"Um, yeah... Special condition. I'm not exactly solid. Should've mentioned that, huh?"[/glow]

Dusting herself off, Wolfie replies, "Yeah, that would've been nice. Would've saved me a bit of embarrassment."

[glow=00EE76,2,300]"Sorry. But back to that picture..."[/glow] he says, reaching for the photo in Kat's hand. [glow=00EE76,2,300]"Hey, that one's not bad. I think this was taken the week before our Top Gun class started..."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,200]"Wooh, guess we all have someone to thank for this wonderful gift....But, uh, who.[/glow] Slider says dumbfoundedly.
"Kat stares straight at Goose, apparently trying not to cry. She takes a deep breath and runs off screaming "VOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDOOOOOOOO," she continues running but notices she's about to go flying off the edge of the ACC if she doesn't stop, "Mommy," she digs her heels into the pavement hoping to stop herself from swan diving into the water.

[glow=white,2,200]"Has anyone had thoughts about forcing Kat to join a track team?"[/glow] Hollywood blurts out.

[Danger Zone Wolfie]

Ice turns to Hollywood. [glow=blue,2,300]"Tried and failed. Painfully."[/glow]

Wolfie runs over and grabs Kat away from the edge (OOC: The literal one. Kat and I actually pretty close to the figurative one, though...). "No more of that. Maybe it is voodoo, but it's gotta be good voodoo if it brought Goose back, ya know? Personally I think it's all the man upstairs, but... That's just me."

[glow=00EE76,2,300]"I dont want to interfere with your lives... Maybe I should just kinda head back..."[/glow]

"No! Don't you dare! We'll all go through the stages of loss all over again! I don't want to experience denial, bargaining, depression, anger and acceptance a second time. That's not fun. And what if one of us slips up and mentions you to Junior or Carole?"

[glow=00EE76,2,300]"Okay, okay... You win. As much as I hate to admit it, you win."[/glow]

"Welcome back to the team, Goose!" Wolfie says, grinning as she sticks out her right hand for Goose to shake. "Oh, yeah, that's right. Sorry," she says, snapping to attention and saluting him instead.

Kat sits down and doodles a comic of the flat spin goose died in and the after math.."It just doesn't make sense." Kat says throwing the piece of chalk she used to draw over the side of the ship.

[glow=red,2,200]"If it helps I'm totally lost."[/glow]Slider says.

[glow=white,2,200]"We all have to get over to the barracks now before Airboss or Stinger kills all of us.[/glow] Hollywood cries.

"Thats a good point, I don't feel much like dying today, and its pretty dark out here considering the lights haven't turned themselfs on yet." Kat scratches her head. "Maybe we should head back to the cabin now Wolfie."
